 “Founded in 2006, Golden Way manufactures a wide range of quality baby products. We put strong emphasis on R&D to provide highly creative and functional baby items. This is our debut at Hong Kong Baby Products Fair to promote our brand Babymate and expand our international sales. Highlights include our newly-developed portable milk warmer, portable nebulizer for kids and 2-in-1 stainless steel sealed bowl. Our wireless armpit thermometer has won Merit Award at the fair. The response is quite encouraging. Shortly after the opening of the fair, we’ve met with some buyers from different places such as Germany, Czech Republic, South Africa, Taiwan and Korea. The South African buyer has expressed serious interest in cooperation with us. Also through the business matching service, we were connected with new buyers from India and Vietnam. Everything looks really positive and we’re pleased with the feedback. We will continue to exhibit next year.”

 “In business for 30 years, our company is one of the biggest firework companies in Thailand. We provide firework displays for New Year countdown parties and wedding banquets not only in our country but also its neighbouring countries such as Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam. This is my second time visiting the Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair. The Fireworks zone at the fair is getting bigger this year and I am happy to have met with a large firework supplier from Liuyang in Hunan Province which is a new exhibitor. I have also found more new firework designs, firework toys, hand-held indoor fireworks and paper confetti. Each year, our company buys 10 containers of fireworks from Mainland China. At the fair, I have identified four to five potential firework suppliers from Liuyang and Liling in Hunan Province. After checking their quality, prices and MOQ, I’ll confirm the orders.”

 “Established in 1890, Ram Chander & Sons is the oldest toy store in India. Apart from running a physical store, we also have an online store selling all kinds of toys and games for all ages in the world. I visit the Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair regularly because it is a good place for me to catch up with new people, meet existing suppliers, explore new products and grasp the latest trends. At this year’s fair, I am looking for new contacts for baby toys, educational and creative toys, science kits, die-cast models, as well as ride-on cars and bikes for kids. I have met with more than 40 potential and will shortlist five to 10 suitable ones. I plan to buy US$30,000-50,000 worth of toys through the fair and establish long-term relationships with new suppliers.”

 “Our Wooden.City brand is famous for its DIY wooden mechanical models which are designed for teenagers and kidults. Currently, we have 30 marvelous models and work with distributors in 40 countries and regions. As the Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair is one of the most important fairs of its kind in the world, we have joined the fair for the first time to look for new distributors. A lot of customers from Australia, Hong Kong, Mainland China, Singapore and the US have visited our booth and they are very interested in our STREAM toys. Parents all over the world want their children to play STREAM toys because such toys can help them develop motor, mechanical and engineering skills. Made from birch plywood, our toys are more eco-friendly than plastic toys as they can decompose easily. We hope to find at least 20 potential distributors through the fair. It’s a good show. We’ll definitely return to the fair next year.”

 “Eastcolight acquired licences from Discovery Adventure, Dmax and Oxford University last year for the production and distribution of STREAM toys. We are pleased to announce the official launch of these three new collections at this year’s Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair. These new collections use co-branding packaging, helping us to promote our brand image and enlarge our sales channels. We have met with more buyers from Korea, Singapore and South Africa this year and found a potential distributor from Indonesia on the first day of the fair. Buyers are more interested in the Discovery Adventure collection. STREAM toys have gained popularity in the US first because schools encourage the use of STREAM toys. In the recent two years, STREAM toys are also getting popular in Europe and Southeast Asia. We have achieved an annual growth rate of 6-7% in the sales of our STREAM toys and we hope to maintain the same growth rate this year.”

 “DangDang.com is the largest online bookstore in Mainland China with about 40% of children books sold through us. About 12 million customers purchase books through our platform every month. We sell a wide range of baby and nursery products as well as toys building on our strong client base. This is my first visit to the Hong Kong Baby Products Fair to find new baby products. I’ve met with nearly 20 suppliers through the Business Matching service on the first day of exhibition. I found the innovative playmats produced by two Korean suppliers Caraz and GGUMBI most interesting. Caraz’s platmats are very environmentally-friendly while GGUMBI’s playmats incorporate learning function. We will develop business with the Korean suppliers and sell their playmats on our platform. I will also get in touch with suppliers of strollers, baby cots, car seats and breast milk pumps for new designs. This fair has a good mix of baby products offering a lot of sourcing opportunities. I really like it.”

 “We are participating in the Hong Kong Baby Products Fair for the seventh year. This is a solid platform to promote our new products and explore business opportunities with global buyers. We are showcasing a great variety of baby products from cushion tubs to skincare and laundry items, bathrobes made of bamboo fabric and playmats. Our Sobble cushion tub continues to be a major highlight drawing a lot of interest from buyers. The cushion tub is meticulously designed with a thermometer to monitor water temperature and a safety stopper. Its medical grade PU materials offer a feel of marshmallow softness for the comfort of babies. Many buyers have come to us again. A Saudi Arabic customer is purchasing more mats and baby bathrobes. Some buyers from Thailand, Singapore and Israel have also selected new items. This is the best baby products fair which attracts so many buyers to do business here. About 60% of our new business comes from this fair.”
