 "Yangzhou Tianxiang specialises in the production of LED street lights, solar street lights, garden lights and traffic lights. Our products are exported to markets worldwide mainly for public work projects in different countries. Major markets include South America, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Philippines. We are showcasing our latest lighting designs again at the Hong Kong International Outdoor and Tech Light Expo this year. We’ve established contact with some new buyers from Ukraine, Russia, Spain and the Philippines. Our solar street lights have attracted a lot of interest in particular. This Expo offers a convenient and cost-effective trading platform to promote our products and meet customers worldwide. Despite the demonstrations in Hong Kong, our exhibition goes on as planned. We pay extra attention to the local situation while things are generally calm and normal."

Over 90% of products are exported to Europe, USA and Southeast East. We are participating in the Hong Kong International Outdoor and Tech Light Expo every year to expand our presence. Overseas buyers have come forward again this year to look into our latest designs, opening up new business opportunities. We’ve met with new buyers from different markets such as Brazil, Mexico and the Philippines. The feedback is positive. This Expo is a globally-recognised trade event drawing a lot of buyers from different parts of the world. It helps us gain exposure and grow business."

 "Crompton is a leading brand of lighting and electrical products in India. We are among the top three lighting manufacturers and the country’s largest fan maker. Our business also extends to the production of pumps and household appliances. The Hong Kong International Outdoor and Tech Light Expo features so many exhibitors offering a lot of products to see and choose from. I have got in touch with about 20 potential suppliers from Mainland China to source various kinds of housings for high voltage lighting assemblies. The total orders may involve the supply of up to 60,000 pieces of lighting housings a month. The Expo is a very good fair. Hong Kong safe and I haven’t seen anything unusual. Hong Kong is indeed a very nice city to travel and do business."

 "Profilight is engaged in the supply of industrial lights, outdoor lights and interior lighting for retail shops. We provide different lighting products for private and public sector projects in Poland, Ukraine and other countries in Eastern Europe. This is my second visit to the Hong Kong International Outdoor and Tech Light Expo. The fair has brought together more interesting products this year. I have identified five to 10 potential suppliers for industrial lights and solar street lights. Their products are of good quality with enhanced features that suit our customers’ needs. I will establish cooperation with two to three suppliers with initial orders estimated at US$10,000 to US$15,000. I’ve also found several new suppliers for retail shop lighting at the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition). I expect to spend about US$80,000 to US$100,000 in total for different products at these two fairs this time. The protests in Hong Kong have not caused me any trouble. I understand that media reports could be quite misleading. The situation in the city is relatively calm and peaceful. I feel good and safe being here. Hong Kong is a great city and I love coming here to do business."

 "In business for 12 years, Skyelume focuses on the provision of premium outdoor lighting and indoor lighting solutions for commercial and residential projects. We are undertaking a number of projects including high-end restaurants, private villas as well as spa and wellness centres in Dubai, F&B shops at the new Abu Dhabi airport and an exhibition centre in Saudi Arabia. I am visiting the Hong Kong International Outdoor and Tech Light Expo again this year to source suitable products. Three new suppliers from Mainland China offer some interesting street lights and architectural façade lights including a unique design enabling dynamic flowing water lighting effect on building façade. We put strong emphasis on product quality and are willing to pay more for high-end lighting solutions. I have also found some suppliers at the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition) for various products such as down light, spot light, track light and LED bulbs. I am well aware of the demonstrations in Hong Kong but the political issue has caused no trouble. I’m not worried at all and everything is fine here."

 "Green House specialises in green energy projects in Israel, providing solar energy applications, wind energy and waste-to-energy solutions. We anticipate an increasing demand for outdoor lighting and solar lighting in Israel and some African countries like Namibia and Nigeria as more public work programmes are coming on stream. This is my first visit to the Hong Kong International Outdoor and Tech Light Expo. I have found four to five suppliers with production facilities in Mainland China for solar street lights and solar garden lights. Initial orders may involve about 1,000 pieces of solar street lights and garden lights. This Expo is a good exhibition with a diversity of interesting products. Everything has been well organised. The protests in Hong Kong didn’t cause me any alarm. They are relatively mild compared to the scale of demonstrations and conflicts in Israel. Hong Kong is a beautiful city and I really enjoy the hospitality here. I hope the city’s political issue will end peacefully very soon."

"Two lighting exhibitions were held in Hong Kong during the same period, I am able to check the latest trends in the lighting industry at the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition), while looking into smart lighting products at the Hong Kong International Outdoor and Tech Light Expo.
