The HKTDC Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition) has returned to showcase global interior design trends, smart lighting products, eco-friendly solutions and more. This premier event continues to shine at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) in Wan Chai until 30 October.
The concurrent HKTDC Hong Kong International Outdoor and Tech Light Expo will switch on tomorrow at AsiaWorld-Expo with outdoor lighting technology, street lighting and customised solutions for every industry from horticulture to mining. With more than 3,100 global exhibitors, the two fairs represent the world’s largest lighting marketplace. |

 “Established in 1918, Panasonic is a famous brand from Japan. At the beginning, we only produced sockets for lighting products. In 1992, we set up a lighting factory in Beijing and started our business in Mainland China. We are exhibiting in the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition) for the first time because we are keen to develop the ASEAN market. At the fair, we are highlighting our Bluetooth lighting control systems incorporating movement sensors which are designed for use in offices and shops. We are also showcasing LED downlights with Bluetooth speakers, line lights and desk lamps. Our products have attracted a lot of attention from international buyers and we have met with new buyers from ASEAN, Australia, India, Sweden and the US. Buyers’ responses exceed our expectations. We hope to come back next year.”

 “In business for five years, Puro Iluminacion is an importer, manufacturer and wholesaler of residential lighting which supplies to 100 lighting shops in Argentina. This is my fourth time visiting the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition). I am looking for decorative lighting, LED lighting and lamps with trendy designs at this year’s fair. Up till now, I have found three potential suppliers which offer new designs for ceiling lights, decorative lighting and wall lamps. I have already placed an order for US$15,000-20,000 worth of pendant lights with a new supplier and will place another order for US$35,000-45,000 worth of LED ceiling lights with a new supplier on the second day of the fair. I like this fair because I can find good suppliers and new designs here.”
