“Based in India, Ecofirst Services Limited is a sustainable design consulting firm for the built environment which offers an array of integrated services from master planning design and building design for property developers to consultancy service for government departments and agencies. We are now designing some smart city projects built on water, renewable energy and solid waste infrastructure. I visited Eco Expo Asia for the first time last year where our companies were linked up with two right vendors through the supportive and helpful business matching team. One of them was an exhibitor from India which provided soil stabilisation technology for plantation. Another one was a joint venture between a Hong Kong corporation and a French technology firm. It becomes our current contractor of sewage infrastructure design. This year, I am pretty impressed with the inclusion of a variety of kitchen waste treatment technology at the expo. During the business matching, I met with a Canadian exhibitor supplying kitchen waste equipment. That really fits our needs. Another Hong Kong company being introduced provides electronic waste treatment service which is not common in India. When I strolled around the fairground to visit every booth, some exciting products like the edible bags and water-based robotic vacuum caught my attention. All in all, Eco Expo Asia is a highly effective platform for us to explore new technologies and products as well as a shortcut to identify the right suppliers.”
Shailendra Singh Solanki, Vice President – Infrastructure, Ecofirst Services Limited, India |
“Based in Gansu, our company has been specialising in the R&D, implementation and management of complete treatment solutions for waste water, solid waste and industrial waste in municipalities and rural areas. This is my first time visiting Eco Expo Asia which has been best known for its scale and leading role in green events as well as its good mix of international exhibitors and buyers. Thanks to the HKTDC business matching service, I was lined up with some Hong Kong developers of innovative water revitalisation technology and cutting-edge soil waste treatment equipment. They are the right potential suppliers for our company. The business matching team has been very helpful. I have also joined the VIP tour taking us to selected booths featuring interesting new products like the edible packaging material. Such an arrangement enabled us to quickly identify the next hit products at the fairground. In a nutshell, the expo is packed with different forward-thinking green concepts from Hong Kong and the rest of the world. I will definitely come to visit again next year.”

“Established in 2010, Hong Kong EV Power Limited is a spin-off from AMOS Enterprises Limited that primarily offers a comprehensive solution to a wide range of EV vehicles. Its business scope encompasses the development and sales of charging EV stations and accessories along with payment gateways, project investment and full implementation, operation plus maintenance. After a near-decade long business development, our core business is built around the operation of our cloud platform that can provide different services to users in our cross-border charging network. In particular, our payment gateway system fits the need of cross-border traders in the Greater Bay Area. Having participated in Eco Expo Asia for four years in a row, our company successfully stroke some deals with property developers, property management offices and vehicle manufacturers in every edition. Last year, we partnered with a car dealer to launch a joint publicity campaign and promote our bundled package. In the 2019 edition, we have introduced a cost-effective and app-enabled ground lock for parking space. This is something new to the market. Our existing partners and clients are invited to have a glance of our fresh device. Serving as a highly effective platform for technology exploration, Eco Expo Asia always gathers officers from local, mainland and overseas environmental departments alongside staff working at the CSR or sustainable departments of big corporations from around the globe.”
Cliff Wu, General Manager, Hong Kong EV Power Limited, Hong Kong (Booth: 3-E30) |
“Headquartered in Foshan and listed in Shanghai, Grandblue is the supplier of integrated solutions for the water supply, kitchen waste and solid-waste processing, drainage treatment and biogas production. Our kitchen waste-to-biogas business is primarily located in Heilongjiang, Liaoning, Fujian and Guangdong. Most of our projects are on a long-term development basis and involve an investment amount in the hundred million to billion Renminbi range. Hence, we look to open up markets in the highly populated, affluent coastal cities of the Greater Bay Area as well as the Belt and Road regions. Hong Kong and Macao are definitely our prospective markets. Our key clients are mainly government departments and agencies. Previously, we participated in the Eco Expo Asia under the regional pavilions of Foshan and Guangdong. The expo is Asia's premier platform of its kind where we have been promoting our business along with other exhibitors from around the globe. Greatly impressed with the diversity of exhibitors and products, I found that the expo really facilitates industry exchange. This year, the supply chain of our businesses is fully developed and it is the right time for us to set up our own booth at the expo featuring the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area zone. Earlier, the high-speed rail started its operation, so I took the train from Guangzhou to Hong Kong this time. I think the high-speed rail network will draw more mainland enterprises to Hong Kong for exhibitions. In the morning of the inaugural day, we have already met with the VIP tour comprising of government officials from Hong Kong and Macao. The luncheon also provided me with a good opportunity for exchanges and networking where I chatted with government officials and counterparts from Guangdong and other countries.”

“This 14th Eco Expo Asia is showcasing a wide variety of eco-friendly products and solutions from Hong Kong, Mainland China, Korea, other Asian countries and the rest of the world.
The Startup zone is one of the highlights of the expo where startups are exhibiting their latest and innovative solutions to potential buyers, manufacturers and investors.

This company’s stainless pipe products are designed to replace and patch the corrosive parts of water pipelines. Such durable products are claimed to last for a 100-year long and have no leak guarantee between each joint of pipes.
Piping systems in many cities and residential areas were old and rusted, resulting in water contamination inside the pipes, thus creating the demand for replacement. Stainless steel products which are more durable than traditional pipes can be considered as a solution.”
