Join the Wine & Spirits Fair that Refines with Age
Welcome to the 12th edition of the HKTDC Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair which brings together a superb range of alcoholic beverages and related products from around the world. Visitors can engage with 1,075 exhibitors from 30 countries and regions, including the new Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine, and Vietnam. The fairground positively bubbles with excitement such as master classes, wine tastings, cocktail demonstrations and trend seminars, are among some 60 events that highlight the Fair.

Highlighted Pavilions


The strengths and special qualities of offerings from many different countries are highlighted in 20 pavilions. For the first time we welcome Japan’s Tottori Prefecture, while pavilions by the Czech Grape and Wine Producer Association, the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), Wines of Germany, and ICEX Spain Trade and Investment have all expanded. One of the largest pavilions Vinitaly organised by Veronafiere S.p.A. will once again feature the World of Olive Oil.

Swirling Education at the Asia Wine Academy
To cater for the growing interest in wine and wine-tasting, the Asia Wine Academy will return to the Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair 2019 for the third year. The Academy is offering two intensive wine-quality courses this year, one taught by Master Sommelier Lu Yang, and one by Jeannie Cho Lee, Master of Wine.

Co-organised by the HKTDC and the School of Hotel and Tourism Management (SHTM) of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the courses are pitched at wine enthusiasts and traders at intermediate and advanced levels. They provide in-depth knowledge of Cabernet Sauvignon and its cousins from around the world, and offer an opportunity to taste and compare similar wines from different parts of the world.

The Bar is Open…to the Public


The last day of the fair will be open to the public. Wine lovers aged 18 and above with valid tickets are welcome to visit the fair and join wine tastings, cocktail demonstrations and seminars to enrich personal experience in wine appreciation. This open day also represents a great opportunity for exhibitors to meet consumers face-to-face while collecting valuable feedback and market intelligence from the public.

Press Conference
Officially uncorking this year’s event, a press conference was held on 15 October unveiling highlights of the fair to attending media members and VIPs followed by a press tour of selected exhibitors.
