“With shoppers usually conforming to the basic or usual clothing items when it comes to choosing clothes for a specific season, Hong Kong Fashion Week for Fall/Winter extends their efforts to consumers and designers alike by providing an avenue for both worlds to come together.
The festival houses clothing and accessories along with a diverse spread of textiles to help those on their way to becoming the next big designer or fashion icon. Simply put, it is a large area for creativity and inspiration as colours and textures are present all throughout.
Despite the fact that the festival is meant to cater to those shopping for the colder seasons, there is still a wide variety of products. Alongside the classic fur coats, bubble jackets and knitted sweaters, these are then balanced out by modern streetwear, bold accessories, and innovative fashion pieces. These pieces may be newer, but a lot of them also pay their respect to history and cultures in more modern ways.”

“In business for 25 years, Baby Service is an importer and wholesaler of newborn baby clothes in the Czech Republic. Parents in the Czech Republic like to buy 100-per-cent cotton clothing for their newborn babies. The incorporation of nanomaterials into garments will be the next big trend. This is my third time visiting Hong Kong Fashion Week for Fall/Winter. The fair is always a good place for me to see new products, find new materials and new technologies and know more about the latest market trends. Through the HKTDC business matching service, I am happy to have found a very good supplier which produces jackets, overalls, gloves and caps with new materials made from wool and cotton. I plan to buy 200 pieces per item per colour if their quotations are reasonable. In addition, I have found four potential suppliers of unique designs on my own.”
Kateřina Hegrová, CEO, Baby Service s.r.o., Czech Republic |
“House of Holland is a high-end fashion label originated from the UK. About 90% of our products are for women while the rest of them are for unisex. We sell to consumers via our e-commerce platform and to wholesalers and retailers in Asia, Europe and the US. Women in the UK lead a casual lifestyle, so they like street wear, sportswear, casual wear and denim wear. This is my first-time visit to Hong Kong Fashion Week for Fall/Winter. I am looking for OEM manufacturers which can provide high-end products based on our own designs. With the help of the HKTDC business matching team, I have found two to three potential suppliers from Hong Kong and Mainland China. I’ll check their prices and quality and plan to buy 100-300 pieces. I like the fair because it provides a good opportunity for me to meet with new suppliers.”
Henry Holland, Creative Designer, House of Holland, the UK |

“Established in 1966, our company has earned an international reputation for the production of high-quality denim wear and casual wear. We have been participating in Hong Kong Fashion Week for Fall/Winter for more than 40 years. At the beginning, our products were sold to Europe and the US. Thanks to the fair, we have successfully diversified into different markets such as Mainland China, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Currently, domestic sales in the Mainland market represent 20% of our business. We have maintained our presence at the fair for so many years because it really provides an important platform for us to look for new buyers and promote our new designs. Each year, we spend a lot of money on decorating our booth in order to attract more new buyers and let them know that we produce high-end products.”
Paul Chau, Director (Sales & Marketing), Easey Garment Factory Ltd, Hong Kong |
“Established 31 years ago, iGarment is a professional cloud service provider of one-stop management solutions for the apparel industry. Headquartered in Hong Kong, we have branch offices in Bangkok, Shanghai and Shenzhen to serve customers who have garment factories or garment trading companies in Mainland China and Southeast Asia. We are promoting our iGarment brand and iGarmentJOS and iWorkPMS for the first time at Hong Kong Fashion Week for Fall/Winter. iGarmentJOS is a cloud-based job order system covering budgeting and quotation preparation, sample development, material planning, production progress and shipping. iWorkPMS is a production management system using RFID technology to collection real time production data and providing production monitoring. During the first two days of the fair, we have met with more than 100 buyers, exhibitors and designers from Hong Kong, Mainland China and Southeast Asia who are very interested in our services. To understand their needs, we’ll arrange factory visits after the fair. Due to overwhelming responses from buyers, we have decided to return to the fair next year.”
Connie Wong, Marketing Manager, iGarment(Hong Kong)Ltd., Hong Kong |
