 “In business for 25 years, Amazing Life is a wholesaler and retailer of high-quality rehabilitation equipment and healthcare devices. Imported from Japan, our main products include functional mattresses, electrotherapeutic foot massagers, massage beds and health supplements. This is our fifth time participating in the Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair because the fair provides a good opportunity for us to exchange ideas with doctors and medical care professionals from around the world. Global buyers are very interested in our rehabilitation equipment and healthcare products because our products have obtained various international certifications. We have met with new buyers from India, Korea, Mainland China, Malaysia and Thailand. The Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair is a professional trade fair which generates new business opportunities for our company every year.”

| Taiwan’s medical and health-related industries are growing strongly and moving up the value chain. Exhibitors in the fair’s Taiwan pavilion present a range of quality medical and health-related products, such as health supplements, smart health and wellness devices for babies, elderly and caregivers. |

 ““Established 10 years ago, we have developed far infrared fabrics for the production of medical textile products such as treatment mattresses, shoe insoles, socks, knee support products and eye masks. We have received invention patents from Germany, Japan, Mainland China, Taiwan and the US. Our products can enhance blood circulation, relieve pain and control diabetes. This is our first time exhibiting at the Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair. As the fair attracts a lot of professionals, we want to let them try our products and look for new distributors. We have met with two potential distributors from Hong Kong and Indonesia. The Indonesian buyer from a TV shopping channel has expressed his intention to place a huge order for our products and will visit our factory after the fair. It’s a very good start.”

| The Startup zone at this year’s fair has expanded to showcase innovative ideas from 21 startups, including 6 exhibitors in the debut Korea Startup pavilion. |
 “Established in 2017, 1drop is a spin-off startup from Samsung electronics. We are exhibiting at the Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair for the first time to promote 1drop which is an In Vitro diagnostic test kit using a smartphone and plasma separation cartridges. 1drop can measure hemoglobin, blood glucose, uric acid and cholesterol now and we plan to expand it to cover more than 20 parameters. After obtaining relevant certifications, we’ll sell 1drop in the international markets in autumn this year. We have received good responses from buyers. On the first day of the fair, we have made more than 100 new contacts mainly from Mainland China and Southeast Asia. We are satisfied with the fair because we can meet with buyers from different countries and regions.”

This is my second time visiting the Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair. I am looking for innovative products and unique solutions to increase our profit margin for us. Up till now, I have made more than 20 new contacts at the fair and found at least five potential suppliers. I plan to buy US$10,000 worth of sports equipment from a Hong Kong supplier, US$10,000 worth of diagnostic equipment from a Korean supplier and US$5,000 worth of disposable gloves from a Malaysian supplier. I am also interested in new products provided by universities in Hong Kong and startups.”

 “Established in 2012, Onlinesurgical.com is a fast-growing e-tailer selling surgical and medical devices in India. I am visiting the Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair for medical devices, medical supplies and disposables. So far, I have found three potential suppliers from Hong Kong. I plan to place an order for US$100,000 worth of ECG machines with one of the potential suppliers. In India, consumers are becoming more health-conscious and like tech-driven medical devices. The Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair is an excellent trade fair which offers many new medical devices for me to choose from.”
