“In business since 2006, United Fashion Group is a fashion e-tailer selling ladies’ wear, lingerie and shoes. Major markets are Slovak Republic, Czech Republic and Hungary. We are now the top e-tailer of women’s shoes in Slovak Republic. This is my first visit to Hong Kong Fashion Week. There’s a lot on offer. I have found some interesting brands and suppliers including MsEnvy Corporation Limited from Hong Kong for quality dresses, Wakingbee Co., Ltd from Thailand for sportswear and Hong Kong designer Peggy Tang for handbags. Other potential suppliers include Dongguan Eva Fashion Co., Ltd and Dongguan Binhar Clothing Co., Ltd. for ladies’ dresses and a Xiamen exhibitor for swimwear. Further talks will be held and I will visit some companies’ showrooms to see more designs. Average orders for women’s wear are around US$40,000-US$50,000 each. Initial orders will be about US$10,000 each.”
Veronika Dragulová, Head of Product Department, United Fashion Group s.r.o., Slovak Republic |
“Global Link is a luxury fashion retailer in Vietnam. We operate four fashion stores in Ho Chi Minh City and one store in Hanoi, carrying a large number of high-end and contemporary brands mostly from Europe and USA. We are now expanding to offer more second-tier brands to meet demand from customers. Hong Kong Fashion Week is really great and I have found something really interesting. I’ve got in touch with three suppliers for mannequins, hangers and display items. They include Jack Mannequin & Hanger Fty from Hong Kong as well as Guangzhou Qianwan Display Supplies Co., Ltd and Shenzhen Xinran Mannequins Co., Ltd from Mainland China. I will definitely place orders with them. Further negotiation will be conducted for the pricing and design details to conclude deals. Separately, I am in touch with Hong Kong ECMS International Logistics Co., Ltd for logistics cooperation. I also like MsEnvy Corporation Limited’s dresses and Daniel Chan’s innovative fashion labels. We will discuss further to explore business collaboration. This is an amazing exhibition. I am very happy with the results.”

“SME Development Bank is committed to providing SMEs in Thailand with finance to promote their growth. To fuel the international business expansion of SMEs in the fashion industry, we are organising a Thai pavilion at Hong Kong Fashion Week for Spring/Summer for the first time. A total of 10 Thai companies are joining together here to showcase a diversity of fashion products from women’s dresses to sportswear, collections with hand-paintings on fabrics as well as accessories like bags, hats and jewellery. Our participating companies are excited about the positive response from many buyers who are coming from different places including Europe, USA and Indonesia. We would like to express gratitude to HKTDC for making the Thai pavilion possible at the fair. Over 30 business matching meetings have been arranged between our companies and buyers. Hong Kong is a global trading hub for everyone and this is a great fair. Through Hong Kong Fashion Week, Thai companies can see new fashion trends, learn about customers’ needs and conclude business orders. Their experience will inspire more Thai SMEs to take advantage of the Hong Kong platform to grow business.”
Lucksanavadee Lertsaravuth, Vice President, SME Development Bank of Thailand |
“Founded in 1987, iGarment provides one-stop management system solutions for fashion and garment businesses to enhance their operation and productivity. We always strives to help modernise the fashion industry with new technology and our cloud-based services. This is our debut at Hong Kong Fashion Week for Spring/Summer to promote our services including Job Order System and Production Management System. Initial response is quite impressive. We have already established some new business contacts including buyers from the Philippines, Thailand and New Zealand. We participated in the Hong Kong Fashion Week for Fall/Winter 2019 last January. The results were very good and we successfully secured some new customers from Taiwan and South Africa. We are positive about the outcome of this Spring/Summer edition. The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area development is driving the pace of growth and Hong Kong Fashion Week is certainly a good platform for us to ride on the momentum for business expansion. We will participate in the upcoming edition as well.”
